Get Involved...

Bold is a community and takes a lot of people to run and coordinate the camps. If you are passionate about getting involved, please look at some of the department descriptions below and let us know what you would be interested in volunteering with. These positions will be for an agreed on specific time range and are volunteer based.  Please fill out the questionnaire so we can get to know more about you!

 Descriptions

Travel and Gear

This department helps to coordinate the travel arrangements for both staff and students.  Also includes coordinating the purchase and maintenance of the gear and supplies required at each Survival event. Includes road trip and flight coordination, vehicle and trailer maintenance and communicating these logistics.  

Communication
Department 

This department focuses on recruiting, supports marketing, and branding and message content for emails, newsletters, blogs etc.  

Location Specific  Assistant  

This position works with a specific location coordinator to mainly network and recruit but also to plan event specific details.  This includes obstacles, supplies available, hosting arrangements, and event planning details. 

Registration 

This department works to manage registration.  They answer registration and basic emails and questions.  They also are responsible to provide an excellent and seamless check in experience and hospitality.  They are responsible for a lot of the administrative tasks in coordinating each Survival.

Marketing

This department works to market Survival to homeschool networks, churches, communities.  It utilizes pictures, videos, social media, email and other forms of communication to get spread the mission of Survival and recruit students. 

Food Team 

This team serves during events to organize, prepare and serve food during Survivals.  If you have a talent for food prep, cooking, or just a desire to learn it and serve, let us know! 

Photographer

This team works to take and distribute pictures from each event to parents and students in a timely manner.

Personnel

This department works to connect current Survival students, alumni and parents to ensure that their experience is excellent and that we stay in touch with them to develop community. This department is responsible for managing the Survival database.  Also responsible for planning a 25th Survival Anniversary Event for 2024. This team also helps to build and manage a Survival App.(Coming soon!)
